Sustainability & INNOVATION

BUILDING RESPONSIBLY

LeMILDORÉ is the largest residential building in Montréal to be constructed of steel, a material much more sustainable than concrete, and is the tallest building in Canada to be built using an innovative craneless technology, providing a safer environment and construction process. Our solution for sustainable heating and cooling is simple: LeMILDORÉ uses the domestic water supply to regulate the temperature in each apartment.

Changing the city landscape

We understand that biking is the future of urban transport; LeMILDORÉ offers 60 underground bicycle parking to ensure your ride stays safe. As per our dedication to sustainability as a BCorp, it’s the largest residential building in Montréal to solely feature bicycle parking. Plus, biking is one of the best ways to enjoy our beautiful city!

The location is great, especially if you are looking to meet new people and experience living on campus not in residence. The updated appliances and furnishings are one of my favourite aspects and additionally the management is wonderful and easy to get in contact with. :)

Living in a Le Mildore’ building has allowed me to create strong friendships with other students within my building. As well as meeting students in my program and creating study groups. This fully furnished apartment was a great first place to live coming out of first year as you still have the social atmosphere with the other tenants and it is very convenient as it is within a few minutes from bus stops, grocery stores and campus!

The location of my apartment is approximately a 10 minute walk from the Dalhousie campus which is extremely convenient and the street it’s located on is really lovely and filled with life. The building is occupied by a lot of 2nd and 3rd year students and it’s extremely easy to get to know your neighbours. The building and area is very much community based and I am very lucky to have such a great space to spend my time when I’m not in classes or at work.
